The hammer crusher can directly crush materials with a particle size of 600-1800 mm to a crushing equipment of 25 mm or less. Hammer crushing is suitable for medium and fine crushing of medium hard materials such as limestone, slag, coke, coal and other materials in cement, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy and other working conditions.
The main purpose:
Hammer crusher is used to crush various medium-hard and weakly abrasive materials. The compressive strength of the material does not exceed 100MPa, and the moisture content is less than 15%. The materials to be crushed are coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, bricks, limestone, etc. It is also used to break the fibrous structure, scrap wood, paper with strong elasticity and toughness, or break asbestos cement waste to recover asbestos fibers, etc. In addition, hammer crushers can not only be used in crushing production lines and sand making production lines, but can also replace cone crushers in mineral processing production lines. The main working part of the hammer crusher is the rotor with a hammer (also called hammer head). The rotor consists of a main shaft, a disc, a pin and a hammer. The motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed in the crushing chamber. The material is fed into the machine from the upper feeding port and is crushed by the blow, impact, shearing and grinding action of the high-speed moving hammer. In the lower part of the rotor, there is a sieve plate. The particles smaller than the screen hole size in the crushed materials are discharged through the sieve plate. The coarse particles larger than the screen hole size are retained on the sieve plate to continue to be hit and ground by the hammer, and finally pass through the sieve plate. The plate is discharged out of the machine.

Precautions for using hammer crusher:
1. During the normal operation of the hammer crusher, if it suddenly stops, the equipment cannot be started forcibly until the cause is identified. After the cause is identified, the materials in the crusher must be cleaned out before the machine can be started in sequence.
2. Whether the sound of the crusher is normal during operation. When abnormal sounds such as hammer head and grate bar beating, friction, etc. occur, they should be dealt with in time. It is strictly forbidden to inspect the operating equipment. After the crusher is stopped, the grinding conditions of the hammer head, lining plate, and discharging grate bar should also be checked.
